The Challenge KidSuper isn’t just a fashion brand—it’s an explosion of art, play, and personality. The goal was to translate that energy into a digital space that felt less like an e-commerce site and more like stepping into Colm Dillane’s mind. We needed to craft an online shopping experience that was immersive, expressive, and still intuitive to navigate. My Role I led the UX and UI design across the project, shaping the overall interaction model and designing a system that balanced chaos and clarity. I collaborated closely with developers and the KidSuper team to bring the brand’s world to life while ensuring that users could explore, play, and shop with ease. Design Approach We started with the bones of the existing e-commerce site, then tore down the walls to build something far more experiential, like an interactive artist’s atelier packed with easter eggs and animated moments. Using bold typography, layered visuals, and playful interactions, we designed a space where discovery was part of the journey. And at every step, we anchored the chaos in solid UX principles to keep the shopping flow seamless. Outcomes The result is a one-of-a-kind digital flagship that mirrors KidSuper’s unfiltered spirit—unexpected, memorable, and just plain fun. We didn’t just rethink how people shop the brand. We created a world they want to explore. The project won a Webby Award for Best Shopping Experience, and the design system continues to scale with new drops and stories.
